Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Place a call
2. Touch the Hold button
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The mic should be turned off but it's still on

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
CSipSimple_0.00-12-22 on Htc Hero 2.1 (the problem was here in previous
versions of CSipSimple)

Please provide any additional information below.

By hold button do you mean the round pause button on the top left corner or the
mute switch on the middle bottom (which is known to be incompatible on some
devices)?

I mean the mute switch on the middle bottom - I did search before posting the
term "mute" in all issues but didn't found my problem.

Yes probably not raised on googlecode yet, so this issue is a good thing.

For now mute is just binded on the android mute function that doesn't work
properly according the device. (Audio stack is a heterogeneous thing on
android).
But I have many way to solve the problem using the sip stack only.

As for now, you can already test the hold function (top left corner) (cut both
audio part and stop rtp stream ) - it's not fully implemented yet but it's a
begin

Should be ok now with 0.00-12-33 (some previous version has the feature too).
Now things are done at the sip level and not the android level. So should be
fine.
