Fixes #141 Filtering doesn't; ICA ignores misc chans

Cool! If you like, you can merge the PR into the main branch ("Merge pull request"). As mentioned above, it would be great if before you could maybe change the title (see above comment) and add a label (in this case probably "Enhancement"). This would make it easier to understand later in the release notes and list of PRs. Thanks so much :)
