@gdmodica I think that pop-ups are appropriate for this kind of actions. We don't want users to lose information or unsaved changes, so we have to warn them more seriously than when they try to update with invalid values.
Looking through at it again, you are right, that is the right thing to use in this case. My apologies.

Have we reached a consensus on this question? Pop ups or no?
Popups are a good idea for this type of thing
Also I think we should ask the user if they want to close the window, regardless of whether or not changes were made. This will ensure that the user will not accidentally close it and get upset.
Ask Marty about that last one; we could say that it is a contract thing otherwise. I like the idea, but we don't want more popups if at all possible.
