As a head of development, I expect a developer’s LinkedIn account to contain a professional picture, a headline, a detailed summary section, and a comprehensive list of experience (including experience relevant to the position I am aiming to fill), a list of skills that I find valuable and a comprehensive list of projects and accomplishments, that mirror the content on the portfolio page. I generally expect all sections to be filled out, a custom URL, and to see activity and engagement with the community.
Requirements:
[ ] The profile includes a list of projects and accomplishments relevant to positions I'll apply for
[ ] All fields on the profile page are filled out
[ ] I commented on one post of a target person or company, this is visible in my LinkedIn Analytics feed
To Do:
[ ] Add relevant projects to the projects section or link my GitHub there if that is common practice for developers
[ ] Check that all fields on the profile page are filled out and fill in gaps if there are any (skills, education, recommendations)
[ ] Add and get a recommendation to add in the recommendations section
[ ] Comment on one post of a target company or person
