support displayconfig custom user AR preference #251

users should be able to pick a custom AR, in case they disagree with ours.
even better is to specify it per-core or per-system, but this is waaaaaaaaay 
more ugly work.

Might be simpler to allow them to just set an arbitrary windowsize directly?

nope, probably not easier. an arbitrary window size may annoy some kind of 
minimum sizing or something. but, not much harder. probably a good option to 
have also. while we're on the subject, why not pop the window size into the 
caption or OSD or statusbar while resizing.
