Hey mate,

I have the ROG STRIX G15 AMD Advantage Edition. Can you share your EFI with me?

I am having issues getting over an kernel panic.

Hey there,

There's been quite a lot of development of the EFI since then. I have gotten GPU acceleration to work from Big Sur to Sonoma DB1, thanks to NootedRed kext. CPU is also now recognized as 8 cores instead of 1. Trackpad, brightness controls, Battery all works too etc. I will try to update the repository in a few weeks time.

Can you share your EFI with me? Maybe just upload the current EFI to your Repo. Currently, there is only the Readme.

Or at least your version of nootedred.kext? I think mine is too old and I cant get xcode to build a fresh one.

I came a long way too, but haven't got GPU acceleration working. I am currently on Ventura 13.3.

As soon as I enable nootedred.kext, it doesn't boot into OS anymore. Even with -wegnoegpu to disable the 6800M.

Here is my EFI, so you know I want to share and not just consume my knowledge. EFI v093 5900HX 6800M.zip
