to compare bird voices I need zooming and/or changing of the time range. Several windows will helpful, too.

Please support in a similar way to setting lower and upper dynamic range also shortcuts for setting lower and upper frequency. I need to analyse from 0 Hz - 200 Hz and that is impossible with the current scale.

+1, I was trying to find a continuous low-frequency tone in a signal and being able to zoom in (and/or mouse over to show more exact frequency/time underneath cursor) would likely reveal it.

Because there isn't much activity here, I switched to sox to generate spectrograms from the command line or scripts.

I don't know if someone is still there, but if you can do, please do it! This is the only key feature that lacks to Spek.
