Could also be a paid feature.
How bout this idea: If a someone adds a Twitter handle to a company page and that twitter account tweets the hashtag #PhillyJobs, then that tweet will show up on that WWIP company page. Make sense?
I'm not opposed to things that help keep peoples/companies pages more alive, but I think that a normal twitter feed would do that just fine.
I'd like to see the actual problem of showing "hiring/for hire" solved separately, and then consider a "latest tweet" integration as a separate task.
Ok, so add a "jobsUrl" field to the Company model and if it's not empty (jobsUrl.nil?) then display a "WE'RE HIRING" button on the company page. Would also be nice to add a "wwip.com/companies?hiring=true" filter to the Companies controller.
So you're thinking the "we're hiring" tag/button is a link to their careers/jobs page, and if there's no link entered the badge doesn't show? I like that, two birds with one stone.
I also like the filter idea a lot too. ++
@alexknowshtml @bradoyler this was added during today's hackathon. you can check it here: http://weworkinphilly.com/companies/duckduckgo
if this meets the need, let's close this.
:+1: :beers: Is there a way to only see companies that are hiring??
@ghostrocket next step should be to display relationship status here: http://www.w3portals.com/weworkinphilly.html jk
logical inverse of "i want to be hired" for people.

What can we do to make this process easier? Include a link to jobs pages if they exist? Other ideas?
