[TalkBack] Gallery widget doesn't always say enough information. #207

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. scroll/fling a Gallery widget

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
on fling ends, it should say "showing items X to Y of N"
but it doesn't always say that.
the behavior seems un-expectable.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
android 4.2.2

Please provide any additional information below.
I am not sure if this is accessibility service's problem or widget's problem.
if it's widgets', please let us know how to fix it.
what is the correct event to send.

thanks.
BR,
Henry

I have the same question. Is there any solution?

Unfortunately, not much we can do from the TalkBack side. Gallery in general
has accessibility challenges. Filed separate Android project bugs to track
Gallery accessibility.

hi,
could you please be more specific?
I can file an issue to them,
but I don't know how this could be their problem...

it seems they always send the same events,
but eyes-free responds differently.

thank you very much.

Henry
