disable escl protocol #301

I want to use sane-airscan for a WSD device. There are already escl devices on the same network so I want to disable the escl protocol to avoid "loops" when sharing scanners via AirSANE. I can see that AirSANE has the ability to ignore scanners in a file but I would rather just disable escl completely and use SANE-AirScan for WSD devices only.

How and where might I be able to disable eSCL?
