App doesn't run in the background #2

It would be cool to keep the app running in the background so that you get notifications on your PC when you get texts. Similar to the way iMessage works on mac

Could I also suggest having an option to enable starting on boot in the background?

With Linux it could be as simple as adding an option to have a -b argument when starting the binary that tells it to start in the background?
