Custom Enhancements #35

Hey Alex,

I've been using ADC for over three years now. It's baked into all of our company's new sites, since we have a basesite that everything starts from. At first we had version 1 and then upgraded to version 2, and as we have upgraded our basesite through various versions of sitecore, we have kept the dlls up-to-date as well. Additionally, as we come upon enhancements needs (pdf crawlers, indexing documents outside of sitecore, language fallback, item/field boosting, etc) we have added them in. Now I realize that with sitecore 7, this becomes unnecessary. However, if you would like me to provide any of those updates to you, I'd be more than happy to. Please let me know.

Thanks, Liz

Hello Liz,

we have migrate sitecore from 6.6 to sitecore 7. Were you able to make ADC to work with Sitecore 7?

Thanks, mariella.

From what I understand, ADC will not work with Sitecore 7. I personally haven’t yet gotten to work on a Sitecore 7 site yet. Sitecore 7 has a lot of enhancements when it comes to search (like solr and linq integration). I think that ADC is no longer necessary in that case.
