Problems importing .stl files for the robot #4

I found this, which might be why we were having trouble using the .stl files.

"SolidWorks produces binary STL files that look like ASCII STL files, thereby confusing ROS; but these files can be fixed (search previous questions tagged "stl")"

Of course that's if you used SolidWorks? or was it Edge, IDK.

I'm not sure what the dealio was here but I've converted the .stl files into the COLLADA .dae format.

If that doesn't work I'll take another look at a clean conversion from the original CAD drawings
