Possible to update addon to fix/notify users who are confused why youtube started going "Your browser can't play this video" relatively recently, and forgot that had this addon installed with "Block h264" checked? #11
I installed this addon a while ago, checked all the options, and then forgot about it,
so it took me a while to realize that's what was causing the problem
(
it happened on an awkwardly frozen firefox 75.0 I'm using on one computer for complicated reasons,
but not on a newer firefox on my other computer,
so of course at first I assumed it was a youtube update interacting with something in the awkwardly frozen old version of the browser itself.
(
Although I noticed it had no problem playing youtube videos embedded in other sites,
just not on youtube itself,
but since it hadn't yet occured to me to think about this addon,
I didn't remember the note that "It works only on YouTube."
)
)
Anyway, I dunno if you might be able to update the addon,
if not to fix the problem itself,
then at least to notify other users who are being doofuses like me?
(addons.mozilla.org says you've got almost 5000 users, so there are likely at least one or two who are still confused what's wrong.)
((Thanks for the anti-60fps functionality btw! That was giving me headaches on my outdated hardware for ages.))
