Searching empty Contacts crashes #7

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open contacts before login is complete, or network is disconected
2. Enter text in the search box.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Probably nothing should happen.  Instead, the program crashes

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
0.2.679-1 on Maemo  5

Please provide any additional information below.
Seems like it's probably something simple, I'll dive into the code tonight and 
see if can't cant get you a patch.

Looking into this. I've had some other problems in 697 as well.

Found the bug. Fix checked in. Build fired. Expect a new build in an hour or so 
in the devel repositories.
