nagios and nagios2cacti on different hosts?

Bonjour Olivier,

as I couldn't find an email adress, I'll just use the issue-tracker for my
question.

We use nagios and we use cacti - but on different hosts.

When using udp as the communication-method between the two, it should be
possible (and easy) to combine nagios and cacti with your nagios2cacti, right?

yes, you'll need to install and configure nagios2cacti on both machine. 
* run the daemon server_sock.pl to receveive perfdata on cacti host (full
configuration : n2rrd.conf,template,rewrite..)
* and configure nagios to call send_perf.pl for enable udp data communication
(n2rrd.conf only)
