Thank you for this tool! My primary use aside from theming for it is to enhance the visibility of the i-beam cursor.
My custom i-beam generally works, except I've found unexpected behavior in Sublime Text and TextMate.
Sublime text: When the background color in the Sublime Text editor is light-colored, my Mousecape i-beam works. But when the background is dark, the cursor reverts to the default white system i-beam.
TextMate: My Mousecape i-beam works when background is light. With a dark background, TextMate switches to what looks like a double-size version of the white system i-beam cursor.
