Cursor is only available on the mouse scape application itself #207

whenever I move my cursor out of mouse scape it goes back to normal what should I do

This is happening to me too. I was messing around in Apple preferences and changed the color of the pointer, after which the pointer would only point to the left. I changed the color back to black with white outline, but Mousecape no longer works. Everything looks normal through Dump Cursors and Command-Enter (pointer points right and has a circle with an X), but as soon as I cursor off the app window (to close the app, for instance), the pointer returns to the right-handed direction. I deleted and redownloaded app with no success. What can I do? Thx, Lori

You need to find where the plist file is stored for that system preference. And either delete it or or delete the coresponding settings with defaults write
