Installed file fails to boot, Wii won't boot #188

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Have a defective app where you have to force shutdown to quit
2.Set as installed file
3.Set installed file as autoboot

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The app should boot, but it freezes the Wii and I can't use it anymore.

What version of priiloader are you using? On what ios/system menu?
.30 (I think, can't check) on IOS 80

Do you have any IOS patches installed? (if so which ios and what patch?)
No

What are your wii system menu settings

first off all, if you install a defective app, why would you expect it to work
in priiloader? and what app do you trying to boot on startup anyway. also, hold
reset to enter the priiloader menu

It works when you run it normally, but fails when installed file. (Homebrew
Filter BTW) I held reset before and it didn't work, but it did this time.

I'm having similar problems installing the latest WiiFlow dol file (v4.0.4) -
http://code.google.com/p/wiiflow/downloads/list

Just freezes up when trying to install the dol. Same on v4.0.3 too.

are you sure you are using the priiloader dol forwarder?
(this is the download from 4 sept.)
Try re installing it again.

Also it mifght be worht if you mention the priiloader version you are using.

the HBF's dol booted fine on my priiloader, it installed (its a title, not a
app in dol format. the dol is an installed, why would you wanna install an
installer for autoboot? )

that, and wiiflow's dol worked with the guys at #wiiflow

on top of that i didn't get any response what so ever. so im closing this :/
