3 Icons Request #85

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

Hi Nicolas.

I was just wondering if you could make a Liquor Store, Concessionaire, and
maybe a Neighborhood Store (like a neighborhood grocery) icon sometime?

Regardless, I really like what you've made so far. They are really nice
looking and cover a wide spectrum of things. Much better than Google's
defaults.

Thank you.

Hello "Liquid" !

You are welcome, your suggestions are good, we will do them soon.

May you explain me what the "concessionaire" means ? in french, it's some kind
of a
"Car store". In english, I don't know :)

Regards

Great, thanks for taking them on.

When I say concessionaire, I'm thinking of a concession stand -- a place where
one
would buy food at a sports stadium, the cinema, or the fair. I don't know how
one
would say it in french, but it might be something like le bar, ou la boutique.
Je
cherche ou` on peut acheter quelque chose a` manger a` un match de football ou
un
autre genre de sport.

I hope that makes some sense anyway.

Thanks again.

Nicholas

Don't know yet if it should be in Restaurants or Stores category.
We will do it soon.

Hello Liquidsharp

Your requests are really hard :) thats why we didn't answer that quick.

I tried a concessionnaire.... still not really satisfied..
let me know if it's good enough or if it needs some fixes.

Maybe a the kind of box of pop-corn you buy in the cinema with a drink could
work as
a Concessionnaire icon?

I will see what i can do with your idea. It seems for me, too close from our
"fastfood" icon :S

Hey Nico,

I like the icons as you've created them. I think the grocery and convenience
store
convey well. As for the concessionaire, I've been using your Fast Food icon
and I
think it has been doing the job well enough. So unless you find more of a need
for
one, I guess, I'm fine with just using the Fast Food one.

But, thank you for taking the time to work on these. I really appreciate it.
I
know I never could have pooled something like these off.

Thanks again,

Nicholas
