Hello !
We don't have a country icon, but we made "big city" and "small city" :

Is it enough for your needs ?
(PS : Don't forget you can search for icons :)

Hi,
Thanks, those icons will be perfect for cities, but I still need something for
countries...
I have been searching, but I only thought about having a city icon when I was
typing
the above message, so I forgot to search before I posted, sorry :)

I don't know how to represent a country without a flag, and I can't imagine a
generic
flag :)
I will think about it, and if you get any idea, please share it.

This is where I was thinking of using an icon of a world/globe/earth. That, or
some
kind of shape that looks like a country, but without looking like a specific
country... :)

I 'll ask my mate Matthias what he thinks about a globe icon for a country.
Matthias, we need your help here :)

I like the first one :) Thanks Matthias. It's our best option for country yet.

Second one looks OK to me even if I don't make the immediate connection to a
country, then again I have no better suggestion, it's a hard one. Think it's
good
enough anyway. If travel@citycentretravel.com is OK with it I say it's done.

I actually never intended for you to add a globe icon as a country; I just
thought
that if none of us could come up with a better idea for a country, you could
design a
globe icon (called whatever you thought was appropriate), and I'd use it on my
site
as the country icon.
Therefore, I like the 2nd on the best, but the shaded square looks a bit odd.
If you
want to remove that square to just make a normal globe icon (and release it as
such),
I'd be happy to use it on my site.
Thanks!

I kind of like the patch, for me it signifies a country, and not the world, as
the
globe without patch would do. Designing an icon with 20x20 pixels meaning
country is
not easy...

From what we've discussed, I don't think a 'country' icon is possible.
Therefore, if
you release just a 'globe' icon, I'll use that.

Everyone will be happy because I created both country & world :
