We've created a submission form for the four developer tracks: https://forms.gle/3asMNbZvVXzShoC36 Provide any supporting materials, descriptions, and use of Algorand features. If you have a closed source project, invite michielmulders to your GitHub repository. Otherwise, share the GH link in the submission form.

Background

We are looking for Metaverse games like The Sandbox or Decentraland that include Algorand layer-1 features such as Non-fungible tokens (NFTs), Algorand Standard Assets, smart contracts, smart signatures, and atomic transfers.

We have three sub-categories within the category NFT-based games:

Best game mechanics
Most fun and beautiful game
Most engaging game

Any game can fit one or multiple categories.

Prize Bounty

The Metaverse games category will split the $20,000 USD price among the top three submissions if they meet the submission and quality criteria.

Submission and Quality Criteria

Submissions are evaluated based on their value for the ecosystem and developers. The Algorand team will use the following criteria to evaluate submissions:

Product features
User experience
Documentation, examples, and extra media like a video walkthrough
Usability of the product
Value for ecosystem or developers

Other Requirements

For questions, reach out to Algorand on Discord, and join the #gitcoin-gaming-hackathon-2021 channel.
Taking this bounty task means you have agreed to our Bounty Agreement terms and policies.
All project codes should be published on GitHub, with MIT license or Apache V2 license.
All contributions/PRs to public (Algorand) repositories should be open source and should follow the contributions rules of the relevant repository.
All non-codes documents should be using Markdown format.
In the project description or repository readme, there should be a proper security notice. E.g., it should tell the visitor the project is not audited and should not be used in a production environment.
You are not eligible to receive additional rewards through other Algorand programs like the developer ambassadors program.
