Description

What is this task?

Contribute to the Algorand community building and engagement in targeted regions; identify good projects to build on Algorand; utlize personal networks and resources to promote Algorand. The bounty taker should have a good understanding of the project and serve as the bridge between community, projects and Algorand. Please apply this bounty, and only start work upon approval of the Algorand Foundation Team.

What are the requirements for the bounty taker?

Dear Algorand Foundation, I am the founder of 1circle chinese community as well as the project leader for TigerChi NFT project, Since the begining, we have been very dedicated to bring vitality and new resources to the ecosystem. We have driven to establish partnership between Algorand and PKU and we are currently working with Tsinghua University for bringing them onboard. I am an Alumni of the WeThinkCode_ school in South Africa and would like to take this opportunity to introduce Blockchain (the Algorand ecosystem in particular) to the current and previous student of the institution. My plan is to host weekly workshops, live coding demos on the Algorand developer tools over four week intervals. The funds from the bounty will be used to host mini-hacks. Over the final weekend the young developers can use the content provided during the weekly sessions to build on Algorand. Winning participants will receive incentive payout and be featured in a Medium article. This will increase knowledge and engagement of the Algorand ecosystem and provide growth.

Participants will also be encouraged to deploy their solutions on mainnet and apply for Algorand grants for projects that will contribute to the growth of Algorand.

I am working on an open source suite of tools designed to make the projects and DApps building on Algorand ($ALGO) more accessible. All available data points from the ecosystem will be catalogued and inserted into tables and charts if at all possible.

1) Examine what is available for ALGO hodlers. 2) Compare projects that exist on other blockchains to what Algorand has. 3) Explore libraries of code that can be used to make this project open source. 4) Determine what can be devised after steps 1 to 3 have been completed. 5) Build the project.

I maintain a podcast on blockchain development on algorand available at anchor.fm/awesomealgo to aid my open source repo called awesomealgo.com. Podcast has been live for more than a month and so far gathered around 400 active listeners with topics providing decent dive into Algorand's L1 capabilities, conensus mechanism and dev ecosystem tools and practices on testing smart contracts. Availabile on 10 different streaming platforms.

Dear Algorand Foundation, I have a lot of community/organization that i have a good relationship with them. And i think there is a lot of potential collaboration if Algorand can tap into their community.
