Short Description: We welcome active community members with proven resources to add vitality to the Algorand ecosystem & community in China. We'd like to establish a long-term cooperation with the active contributor and provide due support for mutual success.

What is this task?

Contribute to the Algorand community building and engagement on top university campuses in China; grow student developer community in China; utilize personal networks and resources to promote Algorand among students. The bounty taker should have a good understanding of the project and serve as the bridge between student communities and the Algorand university program. Please apply this bounty, and only start work upon approval of the Algorand Foundation Team.

What are the requirements for the bounty taker?

Have a good knowledge of the Algorand ecosystem and the broader blockchain world. Be proactive, with a clear plan and expected outcome. Must have great connections among Chinese student developer communities at top universities in China.

Hi, my name is Zhangtianzuo, now I'm a graduate student of Tsinghua University, majoring in data science. I'm also a core member of Thuba, the Students Blockchain Association of Tsinghua University

I'm super interested in becoming a Campus Developer Champion for Algorand.

And I believe I am capable of doing the job

Firstly, I'm currently localizing PyTeal courses which means translating the pyteal courses from English to Chinese. It can prove that I can support local blockchain courses as a Teaching Assistant or run projects in university courses that teach Algorand. What's more, I think I can Serve as an Algorand knowledge resource for interested student developers on campus

Secondly, as a master's student, my main research field is natural language processing. My research experience give me chance to develop a good relationship with lots of student developers on campus, which can be helpful if I want to share and amplify Algorand Foundation announcements I have five years of experience in writing python. From using Scrapy for data crawling to basic machine learning, to deep learning, my code is all based on python. My experience makes me capable of doing this job.

It is worth mentioning that I just interned in the first half of this year at Meituan company, which is the largest Chinese shopping platform for locally found consumer products and retail services, serving hundreds of millions of Chinese people. I worked as a product manager in the search department. My job was to:

  1. Increase the search traffic of our company by designing marketing methods.
  2. Increase the impact of our department's machine learning platform within the company. If I can join algorand in the future, I think these experiences will be very helpful.
