Bounty: $300 USDCa or equivalent in ALGO tokens for non-US residents. (The amount of ALGO will be based on the 30-day average price of ALGO on the payment date) Recipient has to opt-in to receive USDCa asset on Algorand blockchain.

Description

What is this task?

Create a Solution or a Tutorial using Algorand’s technology that will be published on the Algorand Developer Portal.

Solutions A solution should demonstrate a substantial end-to-end code example or prototype of an application in an open source GitHub repository. It should be accompanied by an explanation that provides a broader real-world context and use cases for the solution.

Tutorials Tutorials outline a specific learning goal, set context for why it is important, and then take the developer step-by-step through the process to accomplish that goal.

Deliverable A solution or a tutorial on the Algorand Developer Portal.

What are the requirements for the bounty taker?

They must be an experienced programmer who can write clear and informative guides or explanations (depending on the post type) in English or Mandarin Chinese.

Judging Criteria and Metrics

The Algorand team will choose up to 8 submissions per month to be published. The following criteria will be used:

Creativity/Ingenuity - How creative is the topic? If a similar tutorial or solution already exists on the Developer Portal, how is this different and important?
Relevance - Is the topic particularly relevant to the developer community given current market trends and community needs?
Complexity - How complex was the problem you were trying to solve? Was the solution to the complex problem simple and elegant?
Community Feedback - Is your topic supported and audited by the community? How many stars did the Github repo receive?
Utility/Value - How much value will this bring to the Algorand developer community? Does it help solve a problem that many developers have? Does it provide depth to a topic that doesn't yet exist for a certain domain?
Code Quality - Is the code and repository well-organized and documented? Does it adhere to language-specific style guidelines?
Writing Quality - Is the writing clear and informative for a developer audience? Is it free from grammar mistakes and typos?
Scope of Work - How much time and effort did it take to complete this project?
Extra Media - Does the submission include images, screenshots, and/or videos?

Community Vote Winner At the start of each calendar month, the tasks that were published through this bounty will be posted to the Algorand Community Forum as part of a vote that will last a week. The winner of this vote will receive an extra $1500 in USDCa or equivalent in ALGO tokens.

Submission Procedure

Submit your blog post following these steps:
[ ] Create an account in the Developer Portal
[ ] Complete your profile
[ ] Select Blog from the left sidebar in Admin Dashboard
[ ] Create a new publication, of type "Tutorial" or "Solution” on the Algorand Developer Portal.
[ ] Fill in the title and content. Upload a featured image.
[ ] Draft your publication and "submit for review".
[ ] Check the appropriate boxes in the authorization modal and click Submit
[ ] Send a message on the Gitcoin bounty with a link to your draft on the Dev Portal and a link to your public code repository if you would like the public to be able to provide feedback that the Algorand Team can see and use during judging.

Taking this bounty task means you have agreed to our Bounty Agreement terms and policies.
All project codes should be published on GitHub, with MIT license or Apache V2 license.
All contributions/PRs to public (Algorand) repositories should be open source and should follow the contributions rules of the relevant repository.
All non-codes documents should be using Markdown format.
In the project description or repository readme, there should be a proper security notice. E.g., it should tell the visitor the project is not audited and should not be used in a production environment.
You are not eligible to receive additional rewards through other Algorand programs like the developer ambassadors program.
