can't save #175

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. pressing "save" most of the time

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expected "saved at...", got "Saving..." with no resolution or this time "Error"

What version of the product are you using? On what browser?

Chrome browser

Merging. There is an incompatibility in the current GData API that prevents 
documents created in the new version of the Google Docs editor from being 
editable by third party apps.
