Excessive spacing in source document #281

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Import a tex file
2. Modify the document, save, close.
3. Open document, extra spacing will be inserted between breaks in text.
4. This occurs every time I close and open the document leading to very long
spaces between lines of text.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect my original spacing in the .tex file to be preserved. Instead I have
long gaps of white space that I have to go and delete.

What version of the product are you using? On what browser?

My current browser is Firefox 3.6.13, but I've had the same problem on Chrome.

Please provide any additional information below.

I have reported issue 300, where every empty line becomes 2 empty lines after
saving/closing/reopening. In your description above, it seems a bit different
to me:
I read it as if every linebreak (not just empty lines) give new empty lines,
and I read it as if you just have to close/reopen the document (not save it) to
have the behaviour repeating. Is this true, or is this the same bug?

In that case, issue 300 is probably better described.
