Fix-up and re-factor Line #17

This goes along with #13. The deconvolution code in Line could really use a general clean-up.

Pretty much done since faa26f68 - Line is in a much better state now. There is only one classmethod (not staticmethod) that takes care of all the configuration, and a module-level wrapper that can be used for multiprocessing.
