Always Crash When Turning off through locale/tasker plugin and music player running

IMPORTANT: PLEASE search the existing issues (including closed ones) for
something similar before filing a new one.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Setup the plugin with tasker to turn off notifier
2. Run a music player (I tried with doubletwist)
3. Tasker attempts to switch off notifer and there is a crash.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected output is that notifier will turn off however it crashes everytime 
with the above scenario. Interesting thing is the involvement of doubletwist in 
this. If doubletwist is not running then android notifier doesn't crash on 
turning off with the plugin.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Notifier version 2.8
Phone: Nexus One with Android 2.2.1 (Stock). Not running any task 
manager/killer etc. 

Please provide the log output if possible (from the alogcat app on android,
Show Log menu on the multiplatform client, or Console on native mac app):
Sent the logs through "report error" on the phone. Will paste here as well when 
I get home and able to collect again.

Please provide any additional information below.

Have sent the logs directly from phone using the report error mechanism of 
froyo. Mentioned "For issue 261" in the error description.
