The Golden Spike is RAIL's end-to-end demo and the best place to start to learn how to use RAIL. This issue is for running it, initially as a check that the installation was entirely successful but also as the first step toward building pipelines of your own. (I see now that a lot of the annotating text in the notebook seems to be out of date or unfinished, so while you're working on it, I'll work on fixing that. . .)
[x] Open the goldenspike notebook with the kernel for the virtual environment in which you installed RAIL.
[x] Try running all the cells to confirm up front that nothing silently went wrong when we installed RAIL yesterday so we can address any problems with that right away.
- [ ] Then, restart the kernel and run each cell one at a time, taking the opportunity to rerun cells after changing the values of arguments to the functions, taking note of how the outputs/plots are affected by your changes.
