6-channel PMT simulator in DI/OT form factor
Features
charge calibrator principle
6 outputs (we need 2 cards to emulate 12-channels)
0...-5V amplitude
multi-hit ability (2 pulse pileup)
EEM and DI/OT interface (16 x LVDS)
16bit fast DAC for each output
MCX outputs
Having 16 LVDS channels controlled with 1ns granularity (or even better when running ARTIQ at 160MHz) we can assign control lines in the following way:
0..3: SPI DAC (same family as in Zotino but 16 channel: AD5361); we will re-use Zotino ARTIQ driver
4..9: main pulse trigger
10..15: second pulse trigger (pileup simulation)
The first 6 DAC channels will define the main pulse energy, next 6 channels will define the second pulse energy
