adjusting the HUD Safe Area with console commands does nothing

I reported this issue in the discord servers #help channel but received no answer

setting the values for safeArea_adjusted_vertical and safeArea_adjusted_horizontal to 0.85 will do nothing and sticks to 1 at all times

usually this command works for other mods but not for h2 mod
