no border, applied element styles disappear if its parent container has a background color set already #85

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. The parent container is given a background color.
2. Apply the rounded corner hacks to any elements within the parent container 
which has a background color.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
OUTPUT - 1. No rounded corner is produced.
         2. The border line of the element disappear.
         3. The styles assigned to the applied elements vanished. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
 IE-8,IE-7, windows 7

Please provide any additional information below.
