The mention of the first aerial photogrammetry on the history page (https://alicevision.github.io/#history) is not correct. Sebastian Finsterwalder was already doing aerial photogrammetry from a balloon in 1890 in the alps mapping glaciers (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sebastian_Finsterwalder). Scheimpflug probably took the first unmanned aerial photogrammetry in 1911.

We can refer to the survey made by Peter Sturm which contains up-to-date references

Peter Sturm. A historical survey of geometric computer vision. CAIP - 14th International Conference on Computer Analysis of Images and Patterns, Aug 2011, Seville, Spain. pp.1-8, ff10.1007/978-3-642- 23672-3_1ff.f https://hal.inria.fr/hal-00644982/document

Also the slides of his talk can be useful http://gurdjos.perso.enseeiht.fr/vision24janvier2014/Sturm-24jan-TLSE.pdf

I would be happy to merge PRs that improve it.
