suggest to add a sad kitten mode from the viral video.

the software can be found here: https://www.dell.com/community/Laptops-General-Read-Only/Latest-version-of-Dell-Webcam-Central-for-Vostro-1510/td-p/4280103

Could you clarify on "sad kitten mode"? The link provided looks totally random.

Sorry, i thought it'd been quite widely seen: https://twitter.com/lawrencehurley/status/1359207169091108864

You can add about any square JPEG to the avatars file and it will just "push" the others around it but a huge amount of default faces could be added that would balloon the size of the repo, a CLI command to simply "add a face" may be more practical

I had some plans to make a tool to add an image with manually constructed features, i.e. it would not rely on the face detector running on the avatar image, so you could say exactly where eyes, mouth, etc. are supposed to be. The reason was that I wanted to use a cartoon face with tattoos, and it worked well with avatarify except the eyes were slightly in the wrong place. Unfortunately other projects required more of my time, but I think it would be quite easy to implement. The challenge would be to make it user friendly :)
