hello again
I'm still having same issues. Anyone found a solution to it yet?
Hello everyone, how do I solve this issue, please I need response
option --use-feature: invalid choice: '2020-resolver' (choose from 'fast-deps', 'truststore', 'no-binary-enable-wheel-cache') issues
Please anyone who has the solution should drop. I'm stuck here
I'm digging into this right now, not sure if it's helpful.
Edit: So maybe try running the command without --use-feature 2020-resolver
or you could try to handle the underlying inconsistencies in the packages you're trying to install and make sure you're on pip 23?
It will be stricter - if you ask pip to install two packages with incompatible requirements, it will refuse (rather than installing a broken combination, like it did in previous versions).
So, if you have been using workarounds to force pip to deal with incompatible or inconsistent requirements combinations, now’s a good time to fix the underlying problem in the packages, because pip will be stricter from here on out. This also means that, when you run a pip install command, pip only considers the packages you are installing in that command, and may break already-installed packages. It will not guarantee that your environment will be consistent all the time. If you pip install x and then pip install y, it’s possible that the version of y you get will be different than it would be if you had run pip install x y in a single command. We are considering changing this behavior (per #7744) and would like your thoughts on what pip’s behavior should be; please answer our survey on upgrades that create conflicts.

I have the solution to this problem. I just past this challenge. Here is mine. Dm me on whatsapp on +16137065920. Below is proof
Its working on win 11.. you can see the date for yourself . Dm for solution.
@KratozdCoder here are the instructions for how to create a pull request, so you could become a contributor to this project if you submit a fix for this issue: https://docs.github.com/en/desktop/contributing-and-collaborating-using-github-desktop/working-with-your-remote-repository-on-github-or-github-enterprise/creating-an-issue-or-pull-request
@KratozdCoder Wouldn't it be nice if you put up the solution here and save everyone the hassle of Direct Message
has anyone here been able to solve that issue
facing same issue too, someone should help
Mine finally worked after so much stress, the solution lies with pip
How did you solve the problem??

I tried your contact but I can't seem to reach you
The --use-feature=2020-resolver option was used in older versions of pip to enable a new dependency resolver that is now the default behavior in the latest versions of pip. It seems that you have a newer version of pip installed, and you don't need to use this flag anymore.
For me solved the issue by downgrade pip
pip install pip==21.0
@JohanAR has anyone solve this yet. I'm having problems with mine.
Nobody is actively working on avatarify at the moment to my knowledge. Some other person forked the project a few months back, you could check that out if you want.
@JohanAR Please I really need this and I have spend days dealing on it. Please I would love it and be really grateful if you can help on this.
Oh perhaps help start the build from scratch. "Please help a brother"
@JohanAR I have checked all comment but didn't found any that base on solving this.
Sorry, I don't have time to work with this now. I think the various Python dependencies have changed too much and it would probably take a couple of days of work to sort everything out. Maybe I can give it a go when I have vacation in September. This is an open source project so anyone with a bit of programming knowledge could spend some time and work on it, that's how I got recruited to become co-maintainer :)
What problem is that

pip install pip==21.0
This works just fine!
Just remove the flag --use-feature=2020-resolver
it's not used anymore
https://github.com/alievk/avatarify-python/issues/510#issuecomment-1512319215
this is the solution given by @shanecp
I have worked it out. the "2020-resolver" options given will not work. Dm or whatsapp +233552366834 so i help you out and it will work perfectly. Thank you.
The --use-feature=2020-resolver option was used in older versions of pip to enable a new dependency resolver that is now the default behavior in the latest versions of pip. It seems that you have a newer version of pip installed, and you don't need to use this flag anymore.
Not mentioning --use-feature=2020-resolver worked for me. Python3.11, pip-24.0. Thanks to @shanecp :)
