Zoom factor lost on rotation #45

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go into landscape mode and zoom in to max. 
2. Rotate device into Portrait mode. Notice that zoom goes back to minimum.
3. Rotate back to landscape mode. Zoom is still minimum.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Once zoomed, the zoom should "stick", regardless of rotation. Alternately, have 
a zoom for Portrait and another for landscape that is set by default any time 
the orientation changes.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Latest on Nexus 7, Galaxy Nexus, and XOOM.
