alt-F11 doesn't seem to work in Daggerfall #45

I was able to log alt-F11 just fine in the Key Codes app, so it wouldn't seem like it was mapped to a conflicting interpretation. I went ahead and changed the System settings so that I wouldn't need to press Fn, and went ahead and unmapped F11 in Mission Control as well -- all to no avail.

This was using Boxer Version 1.3.2 | build 20120713.1 and using the Daggerfall version one downloads from Bethesda's website. I was testing in full-screen (although it shouldn't matter).

Holler if there is something else I can do/give you. It's not a make or break bug but since it is used to compensate for Daggerfall bugs, it would be nice to get it working.

To rule out OS X hotkey conflicts altogether, go to the Emulation->Send Key menu, and hold down Alt while clicking the F11 menu option. This will send an Alt+F11 signal to the DOS program regardless of the function-key configuration of your physical keyboard.

If that doesn't work either, then the issue isn't your keyboard setup or the emulation, it's probably your copy of Daggerfall. I don't have personal experience with the game but The Internets claims that the Alt+F11 cheat key only works if you have installed the 2.13 patch for Daggerfall and have put the following line in the game's z.cfg file:

CHEATMODE 1

ALT-F11 should always be available; it's not a cheat. However, you are correct that I had it misconfigured; I wasn't running DAG213.EXE (forgot that you have to update the free download separately). Error between chair and keyboard, as the saying goes. Thanks! (Especially for Boxer!)
