Darklands crashes on skipping intro sequence #52

Hello. Using Boxer 2.0 (built from latest source) and, while trying to play Darklands (Microprose Software), pressing escape to skip the beginning cutscene causes the emulation to end. It looks like the game crashes. This does not happen in Boxer 1.3.2.

Skipping the intro sequence with ESC works fine for me in both Boxer 1.3.2 and the latest development branch, using a copy of the game downloaded from here: http://www.myabandonware.com/game/darklands-1k5

  1. Where is your copy of the game sourced from?
  2. Is this occurring in a standard Boxer build, or with a standalone game app, or both?
  3. When the emulation ends, does the app return to the program list or does the entire app quit? Do any error messages appear?
  4. Do any Boxer-specific messages appear on the OS X console? (Spotlight->"Console")
