LIFX Z not supported? #13

I recently installed these to my NodeRED (Running on REDmatic) but I can't seem to work out how to use any of the nodes provided beside the "List Scenes" and "List Lights" ones.

I have two LIFX Z Strips here, one is named "Otto's LIFZ Z", the other "Kenny's LIFX Z", alongside these two lights I have several Scenes, which are named something like "Otto's Tokyo" etc. I've used to List Lights and List Scenes Nodes to get these names and copy-pasted them.

As far as the documentation goes, setting up these nodes should be as easy as getting your lights/scenes label, adding "label:" in front of it and putting that inside the "selector" field. However, this doesn'T seem to work at all for me, I get no errors or anything, it's just that the lights simply do not react at all.

This is the simplest flow I could come up with with the least possible points of error: image And the config of the Node: image (I redacted the API Key, this shouldn't be an issue anyway since the List Nodes probably wouldn't work if that was the issue) The ouput of the List Lights Node: image (the light is powered on and controllable via LIFX Cloud)

Is the LIFX Z Strip not supported by this API integration, or are my names somehow breaking things because of the apostrophes, or am I doing something else wrong here?

It is my understanding the LIFX Z Strip is supported by the API (the LIFX API documentation mentions the selector capability that is specific to the Z Strip).

I can't investigate this problem right at the moment, as I am moving and have packed up my globes. I will have a look in a week or so.

Did you manage to have a look into this? For example you can activate the move affect using the API
