Moving to official repo #74

The steps

Register my repo git remote add aljarepo git@github.com:alja/xrootd.git
Get branch from me: git fetch aljarepo pfc-async-prefetch:pfc-async-prefetch
Push the new branch to github, here destination is origin git push origin pfc-async-prefetch

Notes: Branch can be renamed e.g: git br -m oldname newname

Double check remote aliases: git remote -v

Merging changes from master:

git pull master

Notes: resolve conflicts if needed If there are changes in the XrdFileCachePrefetch file you have to remove it git rm XrdFileCachePrefetch

Example of a configuration file

xrd.allow host sec.protocol host sec.protbind \ none all.adminpath /tmp/XrootdAdmin ofs.osslib libXrdPss.so pss.origin xrootd.t2.ucsd.edu:1094 pss.cachelib libXrdFileCache.so oss.localroot /data1/xrd

pfc.prefetch 1 pfc.nram 9000
