Pressing C when the player is dead will crash the game #32

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Wait until you die.
2. Press C.
3. The game will crash.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect that either the game allows you to see your (now dead) player or
that nothing happens.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
v0.2.9 under Windows 7 32 bits.

i can _not_ confirm this on mac os x 10.6 v0.2.9 build
