Can`t get Pirrot running anymore

Hello i have installed Pirrot 1 time succesfully on my Raspberry 4. Now i have to make a new installation but can`t get pirrot to run.

i tried it on bullseye and bookworm.

i`m not a pro in linux but the protocol of the service says:

/usr/bin/play FAIL formats: can't open output file `default': snd_pcm_open error: Unknown error 524

can someone please help me to get run it again?

Hi wurminator666,

I assume you're using the latest version of Raspberian? Let me know, I'll test installing from scratch on one of my RPi 4's and release an update if needed.

hello thanks for your answer. today i tried raspberry debian bookworm with pi desktop (64bit), there was the /usr/bin/play FAIL formats: can't open output file `default': snd_pcm_open error: Unknown error 524 again.

then i tried pi os lite (64bit), there was a failure message during installation : "In Creator.php line 928: Carbon\Carbon::setLastErrors(): Argument #1 ($lastErrors) must be of type array, bool given, called in /opt/pirrot/web/vendor/nesbot/carbon/src/Carbon/Traits/Creator.php on line 98"

but the repeater works this time !?!

at last i tried pi os lite (32bit), the installation was fine, but the can`t open was there again...

if you need some logs, let me know (but tell me how to get them)

Hey Andy,

Thanks for the info - I’ll run the installer on all versions of Raspbian this weekend and apply some fixes (seems like some changes may have happened in Raspbian recently which I’ll need to patch).

Keep your eyes peeled for a new release over the next couple of days 👍

Hey @wurminator666, I've just pushed a new release which should now resolve the issue you were having.

I was able to reproduce the issue and applied a fix.

If you could retry the installation and let me know how it goes, that would be great.

hello, yes i tried a installation on a fresh bookworm lite 64bit, it works now.

then i tried a installation on a bookworm full with desktop, there it was not working, but i see that you are working on it right now in the moment, ver. 3.5.2.

maybe i will test later again, for now the lite version works for me, thank you .
