I created another account sandboxtoda that you can also activate - it behaves the same there (cannot verify bank account).
I activated both of the indicated accounts.

Why is the newly created sanbox account not automatically activated? The account requires verification of a fictitious bank account - so no money can be sent, so the only option to complete the activation is manually by the admin, which is unbelievable. The same error has been addressed many times here and still no one has fixed it. When someone enters a similar bug, it just ends up with the admin manually activating their account - that's not a solution after all... The problem has been going on for years...
