Clarification Needed on API Access and Verification Process #9103

Dear Allegro API Team,

I am reaching out to seek clarification regarding the verification process for accessing the GET /offers/listing endpoint.

Background:

We are trying to gain access to this endpoint, which, according to the documentation, is available only for verified applications. The documentation states:

GET /offers/listing is available only for verified applications. How to verify the application? If you are in the Partnership Program for Sellers, contact us via your account manager; otherwise, contact us via the form.

Upon following the link provided in the documentation, it directs us to this form: Verification Form.

Application Details:

Application Name: allegro_pl_read_listings Client ID: 1bfd55d7d04d470ba75a06bf4b75424f

Confusion:

We have contacted support via this form. However, the response received was not entirely clear and suggested we open an issue here on GitHub to understand the specific requirements for API verification. The support message stated:

"Unfortunately, I don't know the time period; we will be informing about it. I suggest that you make an issue on GitHub to know more specific requirements for API verification. The only information I have is those that are in the articles I've sent you earlier. On GitHub, they can give you more specific information."

Request:

  1. Verification Process: Should we proceed solely with the form provided in the documentation for verification, or is there an additional step involving GitHub that we need to follow?
  2. GitHub Involvement: If creating an issue on GitHub is necessary, could you please clarify what specific information or requests should be included in the GitHub issue to expedite the verification process?
  3. Requirements and Criteria: What specific criteria must be met for our application to be verified for accessing the GET /offers/listing endpoint? Any detailed steps or conditions would be greatly appreciated.

We aim to adhere to Allegro's procedures meticulously and appreciate your guidance in helping us navigate this process efficiently.

@KrisKomjati We do not interfere into verification process so you have been forwarded to Github forum incorrectly. This process is out of our hands, so I cannot help you here.

I can only suggest continuing the current correspondence.

@KrisKomjati Hi Kris i have the same issue if you texted allegro and got verification succesfuly please tell me about your experience, what argument did you text them ?
