EAN code not in the product? #9312

May I ask why the discounted EAN is excluded from the product.

My discounts have been normal from the beginning of listing to sales, and the EAN code is also legitimate. But while selling, many people copied the discounts and then put them on the shelves to sell products similar to mine. Then my own EAN code was excluded from the product.

Excuse me, why is this?

After my product was launched, everything was normal and the EAN code was also legitimate. Later, many sellers copied the information of this product and also sold it.

Then the EAN code of my own product was deleted, When the product is stocked to the warehouse, the warehouse says that the EAN code does not exist and cannot be received. Ask me to rebuild another product.

May I ask what the logic is

You should send the product ID via the contact form and ask why the specific EAN was removed from it. It seems that after verification we decided that the EAN is not legitimate, but this is the case to another department to verify that.

Because as long as the product sells well and has reviews, it will be obtained by many crawler software, copied extensively, and then put on sale. Then my EAN code will be deleted. 34567

Without any specific details, I cannot verify this case. As in the received message - the product should have only one EAN number, otherwise next EANs can be deleted. I don't know if your EAN was the first one or not in the product. If it was and it was deleted, it should be verified why this happened. If we have determined that your EAN is not legitimate and choose another one as a correct one, then you shouldn't create a new product, but use the product that already exists in our database.

For example, I listed a Offer and filled in a formal EAN code. Two other people also listed this Offer and filled in their own EAN codes, So this Offer will have three different EAN codes, and the codes are all legitimate.  So, whose EAN code will you use when your warehouse receives the goods?

Could you send me a sample product ID for which this issue occurred? If you've created a new product, it shouldn't be possible to add new EANs.

Such an operation should not be possible, specific EAN numbers are associated with specific products in our catalog. I asked about the product ID, because this allows me to check the history of the product, what happened to its data.

Your product ID was 7ecc4d40-e61b-4403-bbeb-5f7eb700a9d7, but the product was deleted, because we verified it was a duplicate of a product with id 3c31fa06-4060-4da9-bea3-2f45f348c104. Then, due to our internal mechanism, we've changed the product to 69c50aef-7329-4878-8d7c-874f5b1583a6, but this product was also deleted from our catalog. Right now the product associated with the offer is still 3c31fa06-4060-4da9-bea3-2f45f348c104.

I don't know why the product in the offer was changed so many times, the support from the contact form should give you more information.

So it's strange why the product was deleted all over.  At the beginning, I was selling this offer, Then the offer was detected by the crawler software with sales and reviews, Then they copied my offer information and put it on the shelves. This has led to many sellers selling this offer, while also generating a large number of EAN codes.  Perhaps a seller has applied for a "report directory error" and deleted some EAN code reports. Then there are many changes in the data inside.  The feeling it gives us is very chaotic.  I now click on "Edit" Offer, and the system prompts me to "link to products in the directory". Once I link, the system changes my EAN code to someone else's. I don't know why?

I really don't understand the logic inside.  It is normal to merge the offer into the product catalog. But why can EAN codes change and even become someone else's EAN code.

In One Fulfillment, we rely on the original product that was assigned to the offer. Then it may change on the offer as a result of, for example, a merge or other product correction in our Product Catalog. In "My assortment" on the offer then the data of the current product is shown. We understand that this can be confusing in some cases, but this is how the system currently works.

When modifying an offer information, always prompt to link products in the directory, But sometimes there are differences between two offers, and the system has to force them to be linked together.  Even more troublesome is that the EAN code has changed. What about the barcodes on the goods that I have already stored in the warehouse? They are still the original EAN barcode.
