What do you mean content seems very long? What specifically? If a post/page has a lot of information, what do you visualize would improve the scrolling aspect?
I could see linking "Latest News" and "Recent Matches" to their pages respectively being useful.
It seems the "main page", "matches", "maps", and "teams" are the ones which seem long.
It is possible to switch to landscape mode, but the content will display the same as the previous mode. In the server page, it ends up with only one server displaying per section. (In landscape.) So in the server page it would be nice to have it display at least two in landscape mode.
The main page when switched to landscape mode will have "Servers", "Matches" and "Getting Started" display in this order from top to bottom... although they were in landscape mode. Having the "Servers", "Matches" and "Getting Started" display better in a landscape mode would be nice.
The matches take up a large amount of space when placed in a row, but landscape mode does not change the way it displays and it continues to display 1 match per section. It would be useful to have it display maybe two matches per section.
Maps display in one per area... and it feels weird when one map takes up the whole area in landscape mode. Having two appear per section in landscape mode would improve the display and prevent a large whitespace from showing in both sides of the map.
Teams is basically the same as above when changed to landscape mode. The same reasons as above would make it render a bit nicer.
Example of how content seems to render on smart phone in landscape and portrait mode.
Sample content
Item 1 Item 2 Item 3 Item 4 Item 5 Item 6 Item 7 Item 8 Item 9
It would be nice to have it display more like the next example in portrait and landscape mode. Perhaps in landscape mode only ?
Sample content
Item 1 Item 2 Item 3 Item 4 Item 5 Item 6 Item 7 Item 8 Item 9
I'm thinking mostly along the lines of icons to better fit the display of the screens. It could make it a little more mobile friendly and less effort to search.
I'd have to experiment with how the layout would look if I added another breakpoint to target landscape view on most phones or if I returned the container to 100% of the screen width. My main concern is because everything served is user entered, longer names would clutter up the columns or cause weird line breaks; I'd probably have to hide part of longer names to prevent new lines.
The content seems very long when displayed on a smart phone. (Lots of scrolling to see everything from the site.)
From the navigation standpoint, the "Latest News" and "Recent Matches" are not linked. Sort of would be nice to have them linked from a navigational standpoint.
