Activation URL is broken #64

Run RM locally (and have a dummy faculty whose email address is your own). Post 
a job. Observe that in revision r430 (before the 'temp fix' i applied to 
jobs_helper in r431), the activation URL in the email is like.. 
http://http://upe.cs.b.e/research/stuff
(duplicate http and some other crap)

Something is weird in the activation url method.

Fixed in r434. Changed actionmailer default host to upe.cs.b.e and deprecated 
rm_root.
