Map is skewed on Android, when built as an app #844

Steps to reproduce and a minimal demo(Plunker Example)

Current behavior

When you open a map on Android, it looks skewed for 1 second, then looks normal.

Expected/desired behavior

For the map to not look skewed.

Other information

I've tried on 6.0.1 (real device) and 5.1.1 (emulator).
