Update Database #42

Hi,

is it possible to get an updated database at some point in the near future? Or is there a way how to update/create a database by ourselves?

Thanks for reaching out. A database update is overdue. At minimum, I'm working on a writeup document for how to make your own eukdetect database - should be released within a month or so.

Hi,

Thank you for this really nice tool. We are currently working with a yeast that is not included in the current version of the database. Consequently, we are eager to learn how to create our own database.

Thanks for reaching out. I'm currently collecting all the code and writing up how to create a database from scratch as well as how to amend an existing database. Just so I make sure to include your use case - is the yeast that you're working with something that's been sequenced and deposited in NCBI, or is it something you've sequenced yourself and hasn't been released yet? If it's not in NCBI, does the species have an NCBI taxonomy ID? Thanks.

Hi, we are working with Glaciozyma martinii which genome it's already available in the NCBI under taxid 119376. Thanks in advance :D
